The shaft-mounted gearbox uses helical gears that provide an efficiency level of 94/96% at all reduction ratios.
It is a very interesting type of gearbox; for example, for those applications in which the transmission of motion on both output sides is required and a positioning of the motor in parallel to the slow axis, to keep the overall dimensions to a minimum.
It can be attached through a tie rod, with an outlet flange, with a reaction arm, or directly on the gearbox through threaded holes on the sides of the case.
